French and Spanish Honor Society to Host 20th Annual Bravo! Performance

The Cobleskill-Richmondville French and Spanish Honor Society will host the 20th Annual Bravo! Performance on Wednesday, March 26 from 7:00–8:00 PM in the C-R High School Theatre. Doors will open at 6:45 PM, and the event is free and open to the public.
Bravo! is an international lip-sync contest where high school students enrolled in French and Spanish levels 3–5 prepare a song to perform for an audience. Students spend weeks learning their songs and developing choreography that helps convey the message and meaning of the music.
The goal of Bravo! is for each class to present a performance that gives the audience a clear interpretation of the chosen song. Through their creativity, costumes, and choreography, students work to ensure the audience can understand the story and emotions behind the music—even without hearing the original lyrics.
Throughout the evening, classes will have the opportunity to earn several awards recognizing their performances, including:
-
Best Costume
-
Best Choreography
-
Best Lip-Sync
-
Best Overall
-
Best Debut (Level 3 only)
Bravo! has become a beloved tradition at Cobleskill-Richmondville, celebrating world languages, culture, creativity, and student talent. We encourage the community to attend and support the students as they bring French and Spanish music to life on stage!
