A: Just like any well-used buildings, our four Cobleskill-Richmondville CSD school buildings require periodic upgrades, repairs and improvements to remain safe and functional while accommodating the evolving needs of our students and schools. There is a need for capital improvements at each of our school buildings to improve safety and efficiency.

A: Based on aid eligibility of the identified work and the district's schedule of retiring debt from prior projects, no additional tax impact is anticipated from this proposed project. We take great care to ensure necessary projects are efficiently planned and executed to maximize cost savings and minimize disruptions.

A: The scope of work includes HVAC upgrades, replacement of select entry doors and windows, reconstruction of aging stairs and sidewalks, and the replacement of playground equipment, among other items.

A: Detailed design work on the project has already begun and most of the work is anticipated to begin in 2026.
