Annual C-R Faculty Basketball Showdown - March 20, 2026
The Cobleskill-Richmondville school community is invited to a night of fun, competition, and school spirit at the upcoming Faculty Basketball Showdown on Friday, March 20 at 6:00 PM in the Cobleskill-Richmondville High School Gymnasium.
The event will feature a friendly matchup between two teams of C-R staff members: HS/Radez vs. Golding/Ryder. Faculty from each building will take the court for a game that promises plenty of excitement and laughs for students, families, and staff.
Fans are encouraged to show their support by wearing their building colors. HS and Radez supporters are asked to wear white, while Golding and Ryder supporters should wear blue.
In addition to the on-court action, the crowd will also have the opportunity to get involved. Fan competitions between quarters will add points to the scoreboard, giving the audience a chance to help their team win the showdown.
Admission to the event is $5 for individuals and $10 for families. All proceeds will benefit the Class of 2031, helping support their upcoming class trip to Boston, Massachusetts.
