C-R Trap Team Finishes Third in USA Clay Target Fall High School League Conference

The C-R Trap Team wrapped up a strong fall season with a third-place finish in their conference in the USA Clay Target Fall High School League!
Despite some of the toughest weather conditions the team has faced in its three-plus years, our athletes stayed competitive through driving rain and wind gusts reaching 30–40 mph. Talk about perseverance!
Congratulations to our top individual finishers:
Female Athletes
-
Julianna Miller – tied for 2nd place
-
Lauryn Work – 5th place
Male Athletes
-
Jacob Work – tied for 3rd place
-
Jackson Northrup – 23rd place
-
Jordan Yauchler – 25th place
The team had 22 athletes this season, including six new members! A big thank-you to the Richmondville Fish and Game Club for hosting our team and providing facilities and ongoing support.
The team operates at no cost to individual athletes, helping keep the program accessible. Community support helps make that possible, and raffle tickets are still available! Prizes include a Browning X-Bolt .308 rifle, a Beretta A300 12-gauge shotgun, or a $300 gift certificate to Kelly’s Farm and Garden. Tickets are available at Cobleskill Outdoor Sports.
Interested in joining the team? C-R Trap welcomes students in grades 7–12 who live in the Cobleskill-Richmondville School District. Sign-ups for the Spring 2027 season begin February 2, 2027. Visit the C-R Trap Team page under Athletics for more information, or contact Head Coach M. Weiss at weissm@crcsd.org.
Congratulations to the team on a great season, and thank you to everyone who supports C-R Trap!
