TREP$ Showcases Students' Entrepreneurship Skills

At Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District, empowering students to explore their potential is always a top priority, and the TREP$ program continues to be one of the most exciting and impactful ways we bring that mission to life.
TREP$ is an innovative entrepreneurship program that teaches students the foundational skills needed to start and run their own businesses. Open to students in grades 5–12, the program guides participants through a series of five after-school workshops, where they explore key concepts such as product development, budgeting and business finance, advertising, marketing, and salesmanship.
The program culminates in the highly anticipated TREP$ Marketplace, a flea market-style event where student entrepreneurs showcase and sell their products to the community. This event is the highlight of the TREP$ experience where ideas turn into reality and students step confidently into the role of business owners.
This year marks the 13 year of TREP$ at C-RCS, and it was truly inspiring to watch our young entrepreneurs in action. Students set up their own booths, interacted with customers, managed transactions, and demonstrated the skills they developed throughout the program.
The success of TREP$ at C-RCS would not be possible without the dedication and support of our teachers, volunteers, and families. Their guidance and encouragement help foster an environment where creativity, responsibility, and self-confidence can thrive.
We extend a heartfelt thank you to all the community members who came out to support our students at this year’s TREP$ Marketplace. Your support means so much and plays a vital role in encouraging our students to dream big and believe in their abilities.
