C-RCS Students Earn Top Honors at SkillsUSA Regional Competition

Cobleskill-Richmondville students demonstrated outstanding skill and professionalism at the SkillsUSA Regional Competition, held recently in Albany. This year’s competition was the largest to date, with approximately 450 students participating from across the region.
C-RCS was well represented, with seven students earning top-three finishes in their respective competitions—an impressive accomplishment in such a competitive field.
Leading the group was junior Olivia VanEvera, who earned 1st place in Job Interview. Olivia, a student in the BOCES Welding and Metal Fabrication program, showcased exceptional communication and career-readiness skills to take the top honor. The first place winners and other medal winners earned their way to the state SkillsUSA competition in Syracuse next month.
