C-RCS Hosts Schoharie County All-County Music Festival

Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District proudly hosted this year’s Schoharie County All-County Music Festival, bringing together approximately 250 student musicians from across the region for a day of collaboration and performance.
Students representing Cobleskill-Richmondville, Schoharie, Middleburgh, Berne-Knox-Westerlo, Duanesburgh, and Sharon Springs participated in rehearsals and performances that showcased the strength of music education programs throughout the county.
This year’s ensembles were led by distinguished guest conductors, including Erica-Buda Doran, who directed the Grades 5–6 Chorus, Sara Tomić, who led the Grades 7–8 Band, and Jon Fatuzzo, who conducted the High School Band.
The event was made possible through the support of many individuals and organizations. The district extends its thanks to Friends of Music, who provided an optional dinner for students and operated concessions throughout the day, and to Mike Lent and the custodial team, who worked behind the scenes to move equipment from Golding Middle School to the High School and assist with event setup to accommodate both band ensembles.
A special acknowledgment goes to the music educators from all participating districts who prepared students in advance and lent their time and support throughout the festival. Their dedication ensures students continue to have opportunities to grow musically while collaborating with peers from across the county.
Finally, a big thank you to the community for helping us celebrate the hard work and talent of our student musicians!
