C-R Girls Bowling Team Named WAC Division 2 League Champions

The Cobleskill-Richmondville Girls Bowling team has earned the title of WAC Division 2 League Champions, marking the second consecutive season the Bulldogs have claimed the championship.
The team finished the season with a 4–3 record and demonstrated steady growth, resilience, and teamwork throughout the year. Despite being a young roster, with the most senior bowler being just a sophomore, the team showed remarkable development and consistency.
Varsity Coach Ryan Panarese praised the group’s progress and potential, sharing, “Year over year they continue to improve their game, raising their averages almost 10–15%. I am very proud of the team they have become and they will certainly continue to be a competitive force in the future.”
Several athletes also earned individual recognition this season, including: Abby Giesin – MVP and Girls Varsity High Average, Danica Slater – Girls Varsity High Series, Abby Giesin, Danica Slater, and Rubie Cook – Girls Varsity 1st Team All-Stars
