As we near the midpoint of summer vacation, we have made significant progress on our transportation plan for the 2022-23 school year. The purpose of this message is to provide an update on those plans.
First and foremost, we would like to thank you for your patience and cooperation throughout the past two school years. Our transportation department was severely impacted by both mandates related to the pandemic and by the nationwide bus driver shortage. Your support as we continue to navigate these unprecedented challenges has been greatly appreciated.

Note that after-care will be offered at our elementary schools until 5 p.m. Registration is required in advance through the following online forms:

Applications for after-school care are due by Friday, Aug. 19.
Alternate Transportation Forms
This is a reminder that all requests for daycare or alternate transportation are due by Monday, Aug. 1. Requests received after Aug. 1 may not be accommodated based on bus capacity.
The Alternate Transportation Form can be found on our website: Alternate Transportation Form. It can be emailed to [email protected] or dropped off at any of our four schools.
Please complete the form if your child/children will NOT be picked up and/or dropped off at your home bus stop every day during this school year. This includes your choice to Parent Transport.
Bus route information
Our bus routes are finalized in August, after we have adjusted routes to accommodate those families with alternate transportation requests. Bus-route information will be mailed to families next month as soon as they are available.
Bus driver recruiting
We are continuing to recruit bus drivers to join our transportation team. Applications are being accepted both from experienced drivers who already possess a Commercial Drivers License and from those who would be new to bus driving.
