Annual Breakout Club Family Night

Breakout Club is an after school club for 5th graders at Radez Elementary. Much like an Escape Room, students solve puzzles to learn combinations to locks, but instead of breaking out of a room, they are breaking in to a box!
This year, over 50 students participated in monthly breakouts. On June 10, students invited their families to come break out with them.
They raced around the school, completing challenges, including decoding secret messages, putting together jigsaw puzzles, reading maps and learning airport codes to open directional locks, and turning musical notes into letters that spell out clues.
Advisor Kate Elder is helped each month by teacher volunteers Jen Hanes and Kristen Schel, and 8th grader Rebecca Hanes.
