Third Grade March Madness Book Tournament

On Thursday, March 9, the third grade team at Radez held their first annual March Madness Tournament of Books.
About fifty third graders participated in a "Jeopardy!" style competition, answering questions about the books they have read in ELA this year.
In the first round, students competed against other teams from their class. The winning team from each class then competed in Final Jeopardy against the teams from the other classes.
Families were invited to attend the Final Jeopardy round held in the gymnasium.
Our champions were from Mrs. Chamberlain's class and their names are Connor Santillan and Jonah Dinge.
In addition to the tournament, pizza and juice were provided for the participants in between rounds.
