The work of C-R High School’s Future Business Leaders has been honored as among the best in the state.
Last week, 17 C-R students competed in Rochester against 35 other schools at the Future Business Leaders of America’s state leadership conference. More than 500 students from across New York attended.
C-R students earned 11 awards, including one of the most prestigious: Sydney VanDeusen captured first place in the Future Business Leader category.

3rd Place in Entrepreneurship- Paul Clark IV, Salvatore Liardo, and Chelsey Paul
3rd Place in Insurance Risk Management- Nicholas Underwood
3rd Place - Chapter Display - Natalie Meyre and Ainsley Mummenthey
3rd Place in Introduction to Decision Making - Ainsley Mummenthey
4th Place in Human Resource Management- Michael Melendez
4th Place in Parliament Procedure - Nicholas Underwood
5th Place in Introduction to Event Planning - Ainsley Mummenthey
5th Place in Insurance Risk Management- Lucas Pryor
All of the students who earned awards have qualified to participate in the FBLA National Competition in Chicago, which takes place June 28 to July 2.
