The Fall sports season will be delayed until at least Sept. 21, and all Fall regional and state championships have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the New York State Public High School Athletic Association announced Thursday, July 16. 

NYSPHSAA also announced that it will begin planning for a condensed Fall season that would be played in Winter/Spring 2021 in the event it is not possible to hold athletic events in 2020.

The fall sports season had been scheduled to begin Aug. 24.

The Cobleskill-Richmondville athletic department will be holding summer physicals for the upcoming school year Aug. 4, 2020. 

To have a physical done at C-R, students will need to sign up in advance for a time slot between 8 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.

All physicals will take place in the high school nurses' office. 

Please bring a completed Health History form to your physical. The form is available HERE.

Other health-and-safety protocols for physicals will include: 

- When students arrive for their scheduled visit, their temperature will be taken and recorded on their physical form.

- All students/parents will wear a face-covering upon entering school.

- All visitors will use hand sanitizer upon entry to school.

- Seating will be 6 feet apart for those waiting for their appointment.

Online registration for the fall season through Family ID has been delayed until Aug. 21 for modified, JV and varsity sports.
