The Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District is seeking sealed bids for the Sale of Two (2) Used School Buses. Bids will be received by the Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District Business Office, 155 Washington Avenue, Cobleskill, NY 12043 until 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 5, 2023.

Bids must be on the District’s official Vehicle Bid Form, in a sealed envelope addressed to the Cobleskill-Richmondville CSD Business Office at the above address. If bidding on both vehicles, please submit a separate form for each vehicle. The envelope containing the bid(s) must be clearly marked, “BUS BID.” Each bid shall be either hand delivered by the bidder or their agent, or shall be sent by registered or certified mail with a return receipt requested. Bids submitted via fax or email WILL NOT be accepted. Regardless of delivery method, bidders should allow for adequate time for the delivery of their bids. The Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District assumes no responsibility for the late delivery of any bid.

At 10:00 A.M., Thursday, January 5, 2023, bids received will be formally opened and read aloud in the Business Office at the above address. Bids received after that time will be returned unopened.

Arrangements may be made to inspect the buses at the Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School Transportation Department and Bus Garage located at 284 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY 12043 between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, by contacting the Transportation Department at 518-234-7491.

Bid Forms may be picked up in the District Business Office, located at 155 Washington Avenue, Cobleskill, NY, on weekdays between 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., or at the Bus Garage at 284 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY on weekdays between 9:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. The Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District will only accept payment in the form of a bank cashier’s check or money order. All transactions are final. The successful bidder must remit payment in full and remove the vehicle from the District’s property within thirty (30) days of the bid opening. The successful bidder will be responsible for all costs incurred in the removal of the vehicle(s) from the District’s site. All buses are sold on an “as is'', “where is'' basis, with no warranty, expressed or implied. The Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
